Udupi, Apr 14: The police seized a Mercedes Benz car which was being used to distribute T-shirts with BJP symbols on Saturday, April 13.

At the BJP Cycle Jatha held in Udupi on Friday, a person started distributing T-shirts and caps with BJP symbols. He had not obtained prior permission to distribute the items and had stacked the items in the Benz Car.

The poll vigilance officer and his team raided the spot and seized the items as well as the car. Udupi-Chikkamagaluru polling squad team officer Nagaraj filed a case at Udupi town police station.
