Kundapur, Apr 17: “Though making Congress-free is BJP’s aim, it is becoming Congress-free in the state due to JD(S). Congress people are listening to JD(S) by lime magic of Revanna. Giving up the constituency which was won by Indira Gandhi to JD(S) shows the situation of Congress. Therefore, self confident Congress people need to support Modi,” said BJP candidate of Shivamogga, B Y Raghavendra.

He was speaking in a news conference in Nempu in the residence of MLA B M Sukumar Shetty.

“Campaigning is in progress in Byndoor by disciplined team of activists. The grants brought by the MLA in the short period, schemes brought by Modi government, funds allotted when Yeddyurappa was the MP and development is being made known to the people. Activists are working for win with huge margin. People want Modi government to come again,” he said.

“Narendra Modi is determined to construct Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Pension to farmers like government officials, interest free loan to farmers up to Rs one lac and special emphasis to agricultural sector and fisheries is given in the party manifesto.”

“National highway is getting extended till Kollur Mookambika temple. Bypass and ring road construction are thought of there. Underground drainage work will be expedited. An airport in Byndoor will help investors and create jobs. Multi village drinking water project will be given importance,” he said.

“There is no essence on allegations of IT raids. Prime Minister Modi is giving moral strength to soldiers and scientists in the country. All the communities are being taken forward after uniting them. Congress technique does not work in the current elections. Both Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are likely to lose,” he said.

Local BJP leaders were present.
