Udupi: 'Hasyancho Phugetyo' Konkani comedy skit competition to encore at Stella Maris Church Kalmady

Udupi, Apr 17: 'Hasyancho Phugetyo' Season 2 inter-parish Konkani comedy skit competition of the diocese of Udupi organised by ICYM, Kalmady unit will be held at Stella Maris Church, Kalmady, on Sunday April 21 from 5.30 pm onwards.

From the tremendous response toward Season 1, a platform is set up for the second time for the budding talents of the diocese.



This is a unique comedy skit competition and Konkani cultural extravaganza held to develop Konkani through comedy. This competition will be an opportunity to bring out the hidden talents as well as to provide a stage to prove themselves.

Nach Soban, Mangaluru will add further glamour to the programme with their dance moves.

The winning team will take home a cash amount of Rs 15,000 and a trophy also. First and second runners up will receive Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 and trophies simultaneously. Also, best actor and best actress award and best young actor / actress award will be presented to the best performers.

The official logo of ‘Hasyancho Phugetyo’ was unveiled by Fr Alban D’Souza, parish priest, Stella Maris Church, Kalmady along with Fr Praveen Monterio, resident priest Kalmady, Sanjay Andrade, vice president, Parish Pastoral Council, Shoba Mendonca, secretary, Parish Pastoral council, Francis Fernandes, coordinator 18 commission, Dion D'Souza, president, ICYM Udupi diocese, Melwyn Carvalho, president ICYM Kalmady unit and other members of ICYM Kalmady unit.
