Bantwal, Apr 23: A youth, who was hurt by the failure of his love life, hanged himself after consuming poison.
The victim happens to be Nitin (26), son of the late Guruvappa Pojary from Kempugudde in Amtady village in the taluk. He used to work for a cable network at Mangaluru.
It is said that Nitin was in love with a girl, who got married to another man on Monday April 22. It is suspected that hurt by this development, he would have resorted to this extreme step.
It is said that people related to the deceased youth thereafter rushed to the marriage hall and vandalized the venue.
