Udupi, Mar 29: “The former prime minister of the country and national president of JD(S) H D Deve Gowda will visit Udupi on Wednesday April 1”, said Deviprasad Shetty, district president, JD(S).
He will also visit Mangalore and Kaup where he will discuss the recent violence with the residents. Gowda will later visit the Kaup mosque which was damaged in the incident.
Prior to the elections, Gowda will conduct a meeting with the leaders of the CPI and CPM in Udupi at 3 pm. The meeting will discuss the work, functioning, and the techniques used in campaigning before the Lok Sabha election.
