Sirsi: It is Sufficient If Hindus Alone Vote for Me - Anant Kumar Hegde

Daijiworld Media Network - Sirsi (SP)

Sirsi, Mar 30: Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha constituency candidate from the BJP Anant Kumar Hegde has reiterated that it would be sufficient if Hindus alone caste their votes in his favour. Spelling out his total commitment to a similar statement in this connection already made by him earlier, he challenged the Election Commission to book him for this utterance.

Speaking at the convention of the booth level BJP workers held at the Samaj Mandir Siddapur near here on Sunday March 29, he reasoned, that people and political parties are appeasing minorities for getting their votes. As such, indulging in politics for the purpose of appeasing and garnering votes from the majority can not be termed as sin. "I indulge in politics in the names of Lord Sri Rama and Sri Krishna," he claimed.

Hegde said, he was congratulated for his previous statement on the issue, by many people who met him at a meeting in Bangalore recently. He criticized Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president R V Deshpande for filing a complaint against him with the Election Commission, in this regard.

District in-charge minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, party's district Election Committee head N G Kolle and BJP district unit president Vinod Prabhu were present.

I realy do not understand what is happening in Karnataka these days why is it that all of a sudden there is so much talk of Hindus and minorities clashing for nothing. There were many times clashes between Hindus and Muslims. Now there seems to be clashes between Hindus and Christians. Is it not stupid that the religions bring people apart.

We are all Indians. India is the biggest demoratic country in the world where we have the freedom to practice religion so long as it does not obstruct or destroy indias constitution. The way the things are moving at the moment is scaring. What will happen in the long run would be: 1. Religious war like before the seperation India/pakistan .

This time it would look like India/Nowhere. The place will still have to be named. 2. 85% against 15% minorities. A war that no one wants except the politicans for their selfish gains and surely not for the religions sake. Is this what we are seeking ? India is changing so rapidly in all fields and 90% positively. This 10% negative points will bring our country not only to a still-stand but ultimately same as the status of Pakistan. All for ther sake os religion and politics. Jai Hind!

Instead of speaking about the Economic Crisis Unemployment National security etc. etc. This BJP Candidate is towing the COMMUNAL Line hoping it will get him votes - Rest assured NO RIGHT THINKING - EDUCATED HINDUS - will vote for this man. Indeed he will get HINDU Votes from the uncouth MUTHALICK brigade and of course the CLOWN - Nagesh  - Bangalore.

Congress has been in power for many years in India, much more than any other party. Congress was voted to power by hindus, of course by secular minded Hindus. Muslims and christians are minorities in India and they alone can never bring any party to power. What is the guarantee that all Hindus will vote for Mr. Hegde ? So he should know that he can be defeated by hindus alone !

Hindu votes are not a legacy which is reserved for a particular party. I'm sure common sense prevail among masses and elect a candidate based on moral grounds and not on communial emotionalism!!

I feel Hegde's wishes are fulfilled. He is so much harping that only Hindus should vote for him, then let it be. God Created this earth so that every human being will enjoy Nature Gifts equally. It is my sincere advice to every Hindu to keep such People away from Power as their intentions are not to serve or govern the country but to divide through Hate and Evil thereby the Poor and the Common Middle Class suffer. Hegde does not have to worry about himself as he will have full security provided by the Govt and his Goons. It is time that the Hindus think properly and vote for Development and Prosperity than think of Destruction by these people using Caste and Religion.

Don't worry Anant Kumar, only a minority of hindus will vote for you, because for the majority of INDIANS you are insignificant and do not deserve to be in politics. Your statements show that you are a real traitor. India does not belong to you, but to all INDIANS.

85 % of the Indian population is Hindu - by these standards what he says is totalLy justified. But so far i have not seen this happening in India - If it happens good for India as there are several groups of Minority Hindus who would first time get the taste of united INDIAN hindus (Will it happen)
