Udupi, Apr 1: A free cardiac check-up and treatment camp will be held on Sunday April 26 at Don Bosco Hall of Mother of Sorrows church here.
It is being organized by city-based G Shanker Family Trust, Narayana Hrudalaya, Bangalore, Mogaveera Yuva Sangatane, Karnataka state Government Medical Officers’ Association, and Catholic Sabha unit of Mother of Sorrows parish in association with the public instructions department.
The cardiac surgeons of Narayana Hrudalaya will screen the patients from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm on Sunday. Students will be given concession on treatment at Narayan Hrudalaya, Bangalore, while Mogaveer Yuva Sangatane will bear the traveling expenses of poor students.
Karnataka State Government Medical Officers’ Association president Dr Nitin Shetty, Dr Ashok Kumar, and Mogaveer Yuva Sangatane president Sanjeev Kota, were present at the press conference.
