Mangalore, Apr 3: Suresh Naik has taken over charge as the deputy superintendent of police of Panambur sub-division.
He has come in the vacancy created by the transfer of Jayant Shetty, deputy superintendent of police here, who was transferred to Udupi division as deputy superintendent of police.
In the meanwhile, city traffic police inspector G B Subrahmanya has been promoted as deputy superintendent of police. He will continue in the traffic division for the present.
