Mangalore, Apr 3: If the particulars of assets filed by ex-union finance minister for state and Congress candidate from the local constituency B Janardhan Poojary at the time of filing his nomination papers on Thursday are to be believed, his total assets amount to only Rs 6.46 lac!
His wife K Malati is richer in comparison. Her assets including cash, total up to Rs 31.56 lac. Poojary has cash amounting Rs 10,000 and balance of Rs 36,349 with SBI New Delhi branch. His wife holds cash of Rs 10,000, gold ornaments worth three lac rupees and bank balance of Rs 7.96 lac.
Poojary's landed property is worth six lac rupees while his wife owns 7.23 acres of land worth Rs 20 lac.
