Udupi, Apr 4: In an incident that occurred on the evening of Friday April 3, two bikes were involved in a head-on collision near Haradi Kukde in Brahmavar. As a result, one of the pillion riders lost his life.
A motor bike, on which Rama Poojary (72) from Kukkade was seated in the backseat, was hit by another motor bike. Poojary was bound for Kukde, while Abubakker Saheb, who was riding another bike from Kukde, was going towards Brahmavar. Rama Poojary, who fell down due to the impact of the collision, was gravely injured in his head region and died.
A case has been registered in Brahmavar police station in this connection.
