Kundapura: Martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's Father Visits Kollur Temple

Kundapur, Apr 4: Martyr Major Sandeep's father Unnikrishnan along with family members visited Goddess Mookambika Temple of Kollur on Friday April 3.

Speaking to the media persons on the occasion, K P Unnikrishnan said, a trust has been established in Bangalore in memory of his son, with the objective of serving the poor people.

The family had visited Udupi Sri Krishna Math and Kollur temple twice in the company of Sandeep in the past, he recounted.

The family had visited Karkala to receive the honour bestowed on their slain son at the programme organized by Mumbai Martyrs Tribute Committee and decided to carry stone from Karkala for the establishment of Army Memorial Building at Bangalore.

L S Maruti, temple executing officer and Krishna Murty, departmental officer welcomed the family.

K N Govinda Adiga, temple trustee was present on the occasion.
