Mangalore, Apr 19: The 'Rasagrahana meet' organized by Karavali Lekhakiyara- Vachakiyara Sangh was held at in the city recently.

Speaking after inaugurating the meet, Usha, poetess, said that the women are competent and equal  to the men in the field of litterateur. Women’s literary works are spreading their influence at all places, she said.

Women face lot of problems in the society currently. . The literature must help to build a bond of relationship between the broken hearts and work like  a bridge  between valleys, said Sara Abubakkar, well known writer,  speaking on the occasion.

Radha Muralidhar and Savitri M Muliya rendered the devotional song on the occasion.

Chandrakala Nandavar, Karavali Lekhakiyara - Vachakiyara Sangh president, welcomed the gathering. Sumangala proposed vote of thanks. Roopa Kala Alva compered the programme.
