Mangalore: Murder in Kulai Bar - Missing Accused Held

Mangalore, Apr 23: Manoj (26), resident of Kulai Kodigere, accused of being involved with the murder of Harish Bhandary in a bar located in Honnakatte, Kulai near Suratkal along with five others on the night of April 13, was arrested by the policemen from near Kalavaru Benkinatheshwar temple on Wednesday April 22.

The policemen have recovered the knife purportedly used for the murder. Manoj already faces several cases against him in Panambur and Suratkal police stations. Out of the six men accused of murdering Harish Bhandary, five had been arrested, but Manoj had succeeded in evading arrest till now.

The other accused in the case, Ravi Kumar, Vishwa alias Vishwanath, Lokesh, Prashanth and Umesh Poojary are already in judicial custody relating the said murder.
