Udupi: Dr V S Acharya Releases Booklet on BJP's Achievements

Udupi, Apr 24: A booklet containing detailed information on the development initiatives undertaken by the BJP in the local assembly constituency during the past five years was released at a programme held in the Press Club here on Thursday April 23, after giving a brief introduction to its contents.

Speaking after releasing the booklet, Dr V S Acharya, state home minister said that the UPA government provides mid-day meal for 15 crore children but the scheme was implemented by the NDA government. Continuing the scheme further is the lone achievement of the UPA government, he pointed out.

The Udupi ‘Chinnara Dasoha’ was the basis on which this scheme was envisioned, he added.

The Congress is loosing grip over its power and it lacks the support of activists, said MLA Raghupati Bhat, speaking to the media persons on the occasion.

MLA Raghupati Bhat, Dinakar Shetty, town municipal president, Sudhakar Shetty, Udupi Urban Developmnt Authoritychairman and BJP leaders like Katapady Shankar Poojary, Raghavendra Kini, Mahesh Thakur, Kiran Kumar and Shyam Prasad Kudva were present on the occasion.
