Kundapur, Apr 24: Board of directors of Kambadakone Agricultural Service Cooperative Bank, Bijoor branch of which was robbed to the extent of Rs 1.75 crore recently, has announced a cash reward of one lac rupees to any one who furnishes them clues about the robbery. It may be recalled, that unidentified robbers had swooped on the bank branch and taken away cash and gold jewellery worth about Rs 1.75 crore in the wee hours on Wednesday April 22.
Bank president Prakashchandra Shetty has asked those having any information about the robbery, to pass on the same to either the local police stations or control rooms, or contact telephone numbers 0820-2526444, 9448544293. He has also assured that the name and other details of such informants will be maintained a secret.
The policemen have formed five teams for investigating the case.
