Udupi: Second Phase of Renovation Begins at Kaup Sri Laxmi Janardan Temple

The second phase of renovation work at Sri Laxmi Janardan temple, Kaup, near here, began recently with various ceremonial rituals being conducted under the leadership of Yedapadav Ramamurti Tantri and Kalya Vittal Tantri.


 


The second phase of renovation is expected to cost around Rs 1.5 crore and will include work on the temple building and portico. Various committees have been formed to oversee the work. 
 
Sri Janardan temple managing committee chairman M Jayaram Hegde, Kaup Sri Vidhyaniketan Group of Education Institutions correspondent K P Acharya, renovation committee president Sasidar K Shetty Yermal, Vasudev Shetty Kaup, Kaup Divakar Shetty, Sakendra Suvarna, Narayan Tantri, Balakrishna Shetty Doregalaguttu, Radharamana Shastry, Babi Mendon, Sarojini Shetty, Ravindra Mallar, Kaup Hosa Marigudi temple trustee Ratnakar Shetty, and Hale Mariamma temple managing trustee Sridar Shenoy are those involved in the execution of the work.
