Mangalore: Driving Skills Competition in City

Mangalore, Apr 24: A competition of driving skills will be held at Padua High School Grounds at Nanthoor here from 9 am onwards on Sunday April 26.

In the competition, the drivers will have to reverse their cars on a given stretch which will have bends, steep turns and straight portions. The drivers will have to cover maximum distance in minimum time.

In the slow-driving section, two-wheelers will have to be driven at a slow pace. Competition for women contestants will be held separately.

The organizers have requested the willing contenders to contact Angnel Rodrigues, district chairman for Motor Sports, Lions International on Phone 9845353253 or 9743132677.

Winners and second-placed contestants will be given cash rewards and trophies, the organizers said.
