Udupi: Vijay Hegde Elected Bar Association President

Udupi, Apr 25: Cherkady Vijay Hegde was elected as the new president of Udupi Bar Association while Ronald Pravin Kumar got elected as its secretary, in the election held here on Friday April 24.

In the election that had been organized in the office of the district Bar Association here, immediate-past president Mattar Ratnakar Hegde was defeated by Vijay Hegde. Pravin Kumar came out victorious against Atrady Prathviraj Hegde.

T Vijay Kumar Shetty, Srinivas Nayak, Vani V Rao, B Madhusudan Nayak, E Balasubrahmanya Rao, Navin D Kotian, Shiriyara Prabhakar Nayak, Vinay Acharya, Girish Aithal, Anand R Rao, Srinivas Upadhyaya, Ashok s B, Rajesh P, Uday Kumar and Asadulla Katpady were unanimously elected as the members of the executive committee.

The newly elected members took charge at the annual general body meeting of the Association held on Friday evening here.
