Udupi: Islam laid Special Emphasis on Education Kazi Chembarika

Udupi, Apr 25:" Islam has always  laid special emphasis on education.  Educated people can lead a dignified life in the society.  Sunni Centre that is  functioning in the coastal Karnataka has been striving in this regard.  Such centres are essential to inculcate Islamic ideals," said Mangalore Kazi Shaikuna C M Abdulla Musliar Chembarika.
 
Kazi Shaikuna C M Abdulla Musliar Chembarika was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the decennial celebrations of Markaz Talimil Ihsan, under the Sunni Centre, Muloor near here and annual Jalalia Majlis programme, held recently.
 


The programme was presided over by Udupi Kazi Shaikuna P M Ibrahim Musliar.
 
Sayyed Fazal Koya Tangal graced the occasion. 
 
Sayyed K S Jaffer Sadiq Tangal Kumbol, Al-Haj Al-Ihsan Mudarris Al-Haj Mohammed Bakavi Punjalkatte, Hatim Kanchi, Ibrahim Manhar, M H B Mohammed Muloor, Badruddin Hemsar, Abdul Majeed Suralpady, Abdul Razak Jokatte, Badruddin Bajpe, Y Ahmed Haji Ucchil, Haji Mohammed Shaikhabba, Mohammed Vittal, Reception  Committee members, DKSC activists, Markaz committee members etc.,  were present at the occasion.
 
Sunni Centre manager U K Mustafa Saadi welcomed the gathering.  Hafiz Siddiq Sakafi recited the verses from Holy Quran.
 
M B Mohammed Sadiq compered the programme.

    Saudi, Iran & Pakistan have good number of educated women. Women in viel do not mean they are uneducated. They are only following the religious customs of Parda/Abaya/Burkha. As per United Nations Development Programme Report 2007/2008 the Literacy rate in Saudi it is 83%, Iran 82.5%, India 61% & Pakistan 55%.

    Kazi is right , we can see Islam and education especially for women in Afganistan, saudi,iran and pakistan.
