Mangalore: Karnataka Southern Diocese Bans Members from Bishop Elections

Mangalore, Apr 27:
Rev Devaraj Bangera, Bishop of Karnataka Southern Diocese, the church of  South India, issued a special  notice to its members asking them not to participate in  the special meeting  arranged for electing a bishop on  Monday April 27, as per the interim injunction orders by the Hassan court. 
 
The notice said that the members of the Karnataka Southern Diocese council should not participate in the election scheduled for Monday at Shanthi Cathedral in Balmata due to the interim injunction orders by the principal civil judge junior division, Hassan.
