Mangalore, Apr 27:  The Congress Party has already drowned like a boat with a cracked bottom.  Therefore, publicity in the district by even its top leaders like Sonia Gandhi will not have any impact and be able to revive reputation and fortunes of the party again, felt Srikar Prabhu, district BJP general secretary.

The performance of the BJP government in the state is coming in for lavish praise by the people of every class and they will support the party in the Lok Sabha election, he expressed confidence.

A large number of people belonging to minorities are joining the BJP in Dakshina Kannada district. The people have decided to dump the Congress Party once again and support the BJP to get developmental facilities, said Prabhu.

The BJP activists have already conducted organized publicity programme in the district. The door-to-door campaigning is being conducted in many places through 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan' programme, he divulged.

The BJP candidate will win with a huge margin, he felt.
