Mangalore: Bike Rally by Youth Congress Activists on Apr 28

Mangalore, Apr 28: The Dakshina Kannada District Youth Congress Committee will organize a bike rally in the city on Tuesday April 28 as part of the election campaign for Congress Lok Sabha candidate B Janardhana Poojary.  

The rally will be flagged-off by Poojary from Kankanady Maidan at 10.30 am. MLA U T Khader, Abhayachandra Jain, and party district president B Ramanath Rai will participate in the programme. 

The rally will pass through various parts of the city and end near Pumpwell Circle. The rally will also be held in Sullia town on the same day, said a press release. 

Youth Congress president Arun Coelho informed that the organization has held various campaigning programmes including visits to every house in all eight segments of the constituency and workers’ meets.  

He said that the organization has seen a good number of youth who earlier worked  for the BJP embracing the Congress party in frustration, during the campaign.

    Wastage of fuel.Instead of spending on bike rally they can utilize for noble causes of helping poor.
