Mangaluru: Nisha Kulal bags 3 medals in Asian rope skipping championship

Mangaluru, Jul 27: Nisha Kulal hailing from Kadri bagged two silver and one bronze medal at the Asian Continental rope skipping championship 2019 held at Nonthaburi Thailand on July 20 and 21.

As many as nine countries such as India, Pakistan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Korea, and Thailand took part in the championship.

Nisha Kulal represented India and bagged silver medal in single rope speed relay and double Dutch free style and bronze medal in double Dutch speed relay.



Nisha hails from Kadri and is the daughter of Ahalya. Nisha completed PUC at St Agnes College. She is being training under her coach Rajesh and Sandeep. During her 7th standard she had bagged gold medal in rope skipping.

She had also bagged prizes in national level in Kho-Kho, badminton, drawing and dance.
