Kolar, Jul 29: Two persons died due to electric shock, while working on electricity wires at Virupakshi village of Mulabagilu taluk in the district.

Rajababu (35) and Chinnibabu (32) of Andhra origin, who were contract labourers are the ones who lost their lives in the tragedy. Four people are seriously injured. The injured are admitted to the Mulabagilu government hospital.

The condition of the two labourers, who went to save the other two, who died in the mishap, is said to be precarious. Mulabagilu rural police have visited the spot and are conducting investigation.
