Mangaluru, Jul 29: “The Mandara Ramayana Vaachana Pravachana, written by Mandara Keshav Bhat, who is renowned as the Valmiki of Tulunadu, is commendable. These discourses should take place in every temple of Tulunadu. I will organize the Mandara Ramayana Pravachana programme at the Halekote Mariyamma Mahishamardini temple from next year. Everyone has to join hands for the propagation of great epics in the Tulu language. Only when we strive to preserve and develop these great epics, the Tulu language will get the highest honour,” opined Tharanath Shetty Bolar, trustee of Halekote Mariyamma Mahishamardini temple.

Tharanath was speaking at the third day programme of Mandara Ramayana discourse that is taking place at the Tuluvere Chavadi of Shaktinagar in the city under the joint auspices of Tulu World Mangaluru and Tuluvere Koota Shaktinagar.
