Moodbidiri, Jul 29: Dengue preventive measure programme was held at district government higher primary school at Onthikatte on July 27.

Senior health officer of primary health centre Moodabidiri Srikumar P explained to the public how dengue and malaria disease spread and also about the measures to be taken to prevent dengue and malaria.

Primary health centre tuberculosis treatment supervisor Vijay gave information about tuberculosis. Moodbidiri municipal councillor gave details on how to take preventive measures to avoid diseases.

Nehru Yuva Kendra Moodbidiri coordinator Susmitha spoke about the future plans of Nehru Yuva Kendra and distributed pamphlets to the gathering on the awareness on dengue and malaria.
