Mangaluru: N Narasimha Hegde elected Bar association president

Mangaluru, Jul 29: N Narasimha Hegde was elected president of Mangaluru Bar Association. The elections were held on Friday and the votes were counted under police protection till late night.

963 voters out of 1032 exercised their franchise. Narasimha Hegde who received the maximum number of votes was elected president. Jinendra Kumar was elected vice president, H V Raghavendra was elected secretary, Sharmila as joint secretary and Aruna was elected treasurer.

A new executive committee of fifteen members was created. Senior advocate K S N Rajesh was the election officer.
