Shivamogga, Jul 30: Yuvamitra- Youth Commission of diocese recently held its first 'You Share We Care' programme at Chaitanya, here.

The parish youth presidents had the rare chance of having a face to face dialogue with the bishop of Shivamogga.

The youth got a platform to share their aspirations, concerns, plans, projects, programmes and dreams of implementing them in their own parishes. They also shared their expectations, apprehensions, uncertainties and fears of their own future amidst lack of opportunities for secure jobs and placements.

The bishop addressed the youth with a very touching and inspiring message on how the younger generation needs to prepare itself to face challenges of life and assured them of necessary possible support and close accompaniment on their journey.

Since it was for first time that such a day was organised in the history of the youth ministry in the diocese, the moments were filled with joy, hope, enthusiasm and contentment.

Fr Pius D'Souza, the diocesan youth director organised the event and directed the youth.
