Kundapur, Aug 2: The video song release programme of 'Kundapura Nam Kundapra' that is produced by Tasmay Productions was held on account of the Vishwakundapra Kannada Day celebration at the Ajrihara government higher primary school.

Trustee of Ajri Shree Kshethra Shanishwara temple, Ashok Kumar Shetty inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and cutting the jack fruit and posting the song to the YouTube channel of Tasmay Productions. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Shetty said, "The good intention of Namma Kundapura language has sounded in overseas countries also. The local talents have given their contribution in increasing the fame of this language.

Shankar Nayak, headteacher of the school, Karunakar Kunder, actor and producer of 'Chittachanchala' movie fame, Uttam Sarang, music director of 'Kundapura Nam Kundapra' song, Sunil Uppunda, actor of movie 'Kattalekone' and V A Parashuram, village accountant of Ajri panchayat were present on the occasion.

Sandesh Shetty, actor and director of Kattalekone movie fame did the introductory speech. Ashwath Acharya, journalist cum cine actor and Raghava Ajri compered the programme. Plants were planted at the end of the programme in memory of World Kundapra Day celebration.
