Holiday declared for schools, PU colleges in Puttur, Beltangady on Aug 6

Puttur, Aug 6: As Kadaba, Puttur and Beltangady taluks are experiencing heavy rains, the assistant commissioner, through a release, has declared holidays for schools and PU colleges in these taluks for a day.

Assistant commissioner here, H K Krishnamurthy, said that a day's holiday for Anganwadis, primary schools, high schools and PU colleges in these three taluks has been declared for Tuesday August 6.

He added that degree and other colleges will function as usual.
