Mangaluru: JCI Ganeshpura holds‘Empowering Youth’ programme at Bharathi School

Mangaluru, Sep 4: JCI Ganeshpura organised ‘Empowering Youth’, a two-day training programme for students of 9th and 10th standard of Bharathi English Medium School, Vidyanagar, Kulai.

Udaya Kumar, president of JCI Ganeshpura, presided over the inauguration function. Akshatha Girish, zone director, Training of JCI Zone 15 was the chief guest. School correspondent Adarsh Shetty, headmistress-in-charge of the high school Parvathi T S, past president of JCI Ganeshpura Smitha P Holla and project director Sharath Kumar were present on dais.

The student were divided into three groups and each group was given activity based training in effective public speaking, communication skills, goal setting, human relations and leadership.



Zone trainers of JCI Ganeshpura Shrisha Karmaran, Lakshmisha Anchan, Sharath Kumar and Udaya Kumar conducted the training. Smitha P Holla, Chethan B Amin and Chandan D’souza were the coordinators. Tenth standard students Roshni and Megharaj shared their impressions of the training programme.
