Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 28: Former assembly speaker and Congress leader K B Koliwad, stressed that after the bypoll, chief minister, B S Yediyurappa, will be compelled to resign.

Koliwad predicted that the Congress will win ten out of the 15 seats where bypoll would be held. He also felt that the JD(S) might win three seats. "BJP will not win more seats in the bypoll. Disqualified legislators are facing opposition in their home constituencies. Therefore, the chances of the BJP are bleak," he opined.

Koliwad also said that the government led by Yediyurappa will not be able to prove its majority in the assembly floor and Yediyurappa might be forced to resign. He said he will not be surprised if the assembly election is held during March 2020.
