Udupi: MP Nalin sips tea at local stall during unity march, showcases modesty

Udupi, Oct 31: Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP and BJP state president, Sunil Kumar, MLA of Karkala and chief whip of legislative assembly, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, BJP Udupi district president, Uday Kumar Shetty, Mangaluru BJP in-charge visited the Sri Durga Vada Pav Stall located beside the Hejamady tollgate and had a cup of tea with the party members on Thursday, October 31.

The BJP in the Udupi district organised 'Ekatha Ota' a unity march on the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardaar Vallabhai Patel. The unity march began from Hejamady rural area to the hejamady town. The march began to start at 8 am. Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Uday Kumar Shetty and Sunil Kumar had present for the march much earlier than the scheduled time.



Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Sunil Kumar, Uday Kumar Shetty visited the nearby Sri Durga Vadapav Stall and had a cup of tea made by Sudhakar Shetty from Mudarangady and showed that they are no different from the common man. A cup of tea early morning keeps us fresh and active throughout the day. A cup of tea made by Sudhakar Shetty boosted the energy of Kateel who participated in the unity march. There is a saying that through simplicity comes great beauty. Nalin Kumar Kateel showcased it by having a cup of tea in a vada pav stall like a common man.
