Kundapur: Ayodhya verdict - One arrested for trying to vitiate communal harmony

Kundapur, Dec 4: Byndoor police station personnel arrested a Popular Front of India (PFI) leader on Tuesday, November 3, on charges of insulting recent Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya and inciting communal hatred.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Zafri, resident of Gausiya Mohalla, Kaluvina Hitlu, Shirur, near Byndoor. He was produced in the court.

Mohammed Zafri is the president of Popular Front of India, an organization banned in Kerala state. He has pasted to his well wall, banners defaming the Supreme Court and inciting communal hatred. He has been arrested upon complaints by the people.

The banner spokea about speaking up for justice and stated that the Babri verdict is denial of justice. Byndoor police visited the place and conducted spot inspection. A case in this connection is registered at Byndoor police station.
