Udupi, Jan 5: A gang which arrived in bikes, stabbed a youth who was speaking to a friend near Doddanagudde mosque. Four persons were arrested in this connection.

The arrested men happen to be Dileep, Rakshit. Jeevan, and Nitin. They had stabbed Mohammed Rafiq, residing near Doddanagudde mosque, who was talking to a friend after offering namaz on the night of January 3. Rafiq's mother, Ayeshabi, had complained to the police about four young men on motorbikes pushing her aside and attacking her son by four persons for unknown reasons.
