Bengaluru: University registrar, employee accused of pocketing fee collected from students

Bengaluru, Nov 9: The then director of Canara Bank School of Management evening college here, Prof Janardhanam, and university employee Shivashankar Bhairav, have been accused of misusing Rs 13.73 lac collected from the students of the said college in the form of fee.

A first information report containing the above allegations stands filed in Halasur Gate police station here. The complaint has been made by Dr V Shivaram, registrar of Bangalore Central University.

Prof Janardhanam is the current registrar of Bangalore North University. The police said that they have registered case against Janardhanam and Shivashankar Bhairav and launched an investigation.
