Bantwal, Jan 9: A bag left behind by an auto-rickshaw passenger, a stranger turned out to be containing buds of ganja and its seeds.

The passenger had asked to stop the auto at Kemmaje saying that he will bring the money. As the passenger did not return, the driver of the auto handed over the bag to personnel at Vittal police station. The police personnel while checking the contents in the bag found ganja buds and seeds in it.

Police confiscated 215 grams ganja worth about Rs 6,000 and registered a case on the basis of complaint by auto driver.
