Moodbidri: Annual feast of Infant Jesus celebrated at Alangar

Moodbidri, Jan 13: The annual feast of Infant Jesus was celebrated at Alangar, on Sunday, January 12.

The solemn festive Mass was presided over by Dr William D’Souza, bishop of the archdiocese of Patna. Fr Maxim D’Souza, professor, St Joseph Seminary, Mangaluru, preached on the occasion on the theme of our call towards life-protection and well-being.

New Konkani Bhajan DVD ‘Dhulob Jezu’ composed by Fr Maxim D’Souza and Fr Walter D’Souza was released by the bishop. Contributions received while taking DVD will be used for the ICYM cause of repairing a house of a poor widow. Many priests, religious, nuns and thousands of faithful, devotees of Infant Jesus despite caste and creed from Moodbidri surroundings and neighbouring places participated.



Soon after the Holy Mass, festal dinner was served.
