Mangaluru: PUCL to lead anti-CAA protest in city on Saturday

Mangaluru, Jan 17: People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) national leader P B D'Sa, said in a press meet held here on Thursday January 16 that a meet led by PUCL and Samastha Kerala Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF) with the support of a number of like-minded organizations is being held against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The meet is being organized at 2.30 pm on January 18 in front of Shanthi Nilaya in the city.

D'Sa said that huge protests, conventions, meets, awareness meetings etc are being organized at various places in the country against anti-people acts of the union government. He said that the fight will continue till the concerned get justice.

Samastha Karnataka Mushavar secretary, Abdul Khader Darimi, said that organizations which are against CAA have extended support for the said programme.

PUCL Dakshina Kannada district unit president R Eswaraj, general secretary Ajai D'Silva, SKSSF district president Khasim Darimi, treasurer Syed Amir Tangal and others were present.
