Udupi, Jan 18: Sri Vidyadheesha Teertha Swamiji of Palimaru Math received civil felicitation, on his successful completion of the Paryaya in Krishna Math, in a programme that was held at Poornaprajna Vedike here on Friday, January 18.

Sri Krishna Seva Balaga, Tulu Shivalli Madhwa Mandala and other public organizations honoured Sri Palimalu Swamiji for his incredible work during his two years of term.

In his blessings address, Sri Vidyadheesha Swamiji said, “I will dedicate all this awards to Lord Sri Krishna. He made it possible for me. There is no role of me in it. I came empty handed and I am going with nothing. It is all because of God’s grace. I myself is dedicated to him and he inspired the devotees to complete my sankalpas.”



Speaking about Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji, Palimaru Math, Sri Vidhyadheesha Swamiji said, “He is a young man with good thoughts. He has foresightedness about nature and cleaning. He got a good teacher as well. Let Udupi become a clean city in future.”

Delivering the blessings Sri Eeshapriya Teertha Swamiji, Adamaru Math said, “One should make or frame a rule to achieve a goal. Let us take oath of environment protection. Only then we can do that. Today’s society should try to grasp good things. Today we are not able to enjoy the nature at the fullest. We should do good to others. Let us focus on that part.”

Sri Vidyarajeshwara Theertha Swamiji of Palimar Math said, “I am fortunate to get such a teacher in my life. I am happy for being a student of him. He accepted me as his disciple before the end of his Paryaya.”

Chief guest of the event, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodiyar Maharaja of Mysuru, said, “Many problems will arise due to environment pollution. Protection of environment and saving water are the first priority of today’s generation. For that, we should give more preference to self-sustainability.”

MP Shobha Karandlaje, Udupi- Chikkamagaluru said, “Vidyadheesha Swamiji has done many developments like Laksha Tulsi Archane and Suvarna Gopura. God may complete his resolution of making Udupi a Plastic-free city.”

Annamalai, IPS said, “Ishapriaya Swamiji is committed to cultivating our Guru Parampara and making some revolution. Rain harvesting and recycling of waste are the dream projects of him. We, the political representatives and government officials of Udupi should have the same thought. Let us make use of it. Let Udupi develop as a spiritual center. Public’s cooperation is required for bringing changes in Udupi.”

Sathyanarayana Acharya, Principal Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta, Bengaluru delivered the felicitation address.

K Raghupathi Bhat, MLA Udupi, Anand Kallolikar, CMC commissioner, G Jagadeesh, deputy commissioner, Neetha Gururaj, president, taluk panchayath, Udupi, N Vishnuvardhan, district superintendent of police, Annamalai, former IPS officer and M B Puranik, president of Sri Krishna Seva Balaga were present on the dais.
