Moodbidri: Three men accused of several thefts held

Moodbidri, Jan 21: Policemen attached to the local station have succeeded in arresting three persons, who have been accused of committing thefts at several spots within the limits of this station and then remaining elusive. The arrested accused happen to be Arif (25) from Vamanjoor, Muhammed Muneer (23) and Arif (29) from Kalavaru Kursugudde.

The accused, the police claim, had committed thefts at Hosabettu society, post office, Puthige, Nellikar, Mantrady, Daregudde, Panapila etc at night and then evaded arrest so far.

Under the directions of the Mangaluru city police commissioner, the operation was led by the police circle inspector here, Dinesh Kumar B S, and the police team succeeded in taking the theft accused into custody.

Eight different cases have been registered so far against the accused in different police station including the town station here.
