Mangaluru, Feb 20: P M Ravi from Madikeri has been chosen as a member of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy. With his appointment, Kodagu district has got representation in the academy.

President of the academy, Dayanand G Kattalsar, chose Ravi as a member. Ravi has served as taluk president of Mogera Samaja and also as its district president and honorary president, director of Madikeri taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad, vice president of Madikeri Dasara Samiti, general secretary of 'Tuluvere Janapada Koota' and editor of Tulu monthly publication, 'Tingolda Bolpu'.
