Sydney, Nov 8 (IANS) Pop diva Britney Spears' fans stormed out of her show in Perth, Australia, Friday night, insisting that the singer was terrible.
The exodus began just three songs after fans made it clear they were unhappy with the star's lacklustre performance and miming, reports wotnews.com.au.
"It was cr*p... She has let us down," said Josh Blee, a fan.
Other concertgoers complained they couldn't even see the singer miming on the big screens above the stage because she mostly performed with her back to the cameras and she never addressed the fans who had paid for expensive tickets.
The outrage came just 24 hours after Virginia Judge, the New South Wales (NSW) minister for fair trading, urged ticket agencies to warn fans about touring stars who don't sing live.
"Live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded," Judge had said.
