Udupi, Mar 4: The police have taken into custody four persons who were found to be consuming ganja.
The arrested are Anurag Sharma (21), Saubhagya Das (21), both students of other states currently living in Manipal, Sumit Karb (23) from Herga and Vaishnavi (20) from Chennai.
Forensic test report of KMC Hospital Manipal has confirmed that they had consumed ganja. A case in this connection was registered in Manipal police station.
Two more from Udupi: The police also found two more persons consuming ganja in Udupi city area. Abhijit (23) living near the city bus stand here, and Akshay (23) residing near Ajjarkad park were arrested. Their reports too confirmed ganja consumption. A case against them was registered in the town police station here.
