Kundapur, Mar 5: In a tragic head-on collision between two bikes, one died and three others suffered critical injuries here on Wednesday, March 4.

The incident took place near Golihole mosque on Golihole-Kollur road in Byndoor police station limits on Wednesday night.

The deceased is identified as Sarkallu Tondle resident Sudhir Gowda(25).

Sudhir Gowda and his friend Surendra Gowda were going on the bike to fetch items from Moorukai, from Thondle to Golihole. Meanwhile a person named Naveen was approaching on his bike at the curve in Golihole mosque. His bike has collided with the bike that was driven by Sudhir Gowda. Sudhir Gowda suffered serious injury to his head in the impact and he died on the spot.

Surendra Gowda who was in the bike ridden by Sudir Gowda, another bike rider Naveen and pillion rider Theggarse resident Srinivas Sherugar have suffered critical injuries to their hands and heads. The injured are admitted to Kundapur private hospital. A police case is registered in Byndoor police station.
