Puttur: Youth arrested for outraging modesty of woman

Puttur, Mar 8: In an incident that occurred at Madyangala of Ariyadka village in the taluk a youth allegedly tried to outrage the modesty of a married woman. A case in this connection is registered in the Puttur rural police station. The youth is arrested by the police.

Mahesh, a resident, allegedly tried to pull the victim, a married woman who was returning to her house from the house of her neighbour. As the woman screamed the youth escaped.

Police are investigating further.
