Moodbidri, Mar 9: A person residing near Kadandale Lord Subrahmanya Swami temple in Paladka village near here ended his life by consuming insecticide. The victim, identified as Arun Kumar (45), chose to end his life in this fashion on Sunday, March 8.
Arun used to operate a business concern dealing with electronic items at Hebri. He had run his business on Saturday too and had returned home at night. On Sunday morning, he consumed insecticide. The locals who came to know of the incident admitted him into a private hospital. But treatments given to him failed to save his life.
Arun Kumar was unmarried. He lived with his father and brother. Reasons which forced him to take these extreme steps are not known yet. Moodbidri police, who have registered the case, are investigating.
