Kundapur: Frustrated at unmarried status, man hangs self

Kundapur, Mar 13: Santhosh (35) from Iruvathur, Karkala, hanged himself from the wooden beam of the roof on the outside of a house in Belve village in the taluk and lost his life on March 10.

Santhosh, who was a bachelor, used to reside at the house of Gummola Lalita Poojarthi. He used to consume liquor excessively, the locals said. It is said that he ended his life out of frustration at not getting married.

Brother of the deceased, Ashok Shetty Iruvathur, filed a complaint in Shankaranarayana police station based on which a case of unnatural death was registered.
