Kaup, Mar 20: In an incident which happened at Avaralumattu near Padubidri recently, which came into the open with much delay, two Taalamaddale artistes depicting epic characters, who initially exchanged verbal abuses, later came to blows and used mikes to hit one another. The Padubidri police who took the artistes to the station succeeded in giving a decent burial to the incident after the two sides agreed for a truce.

On the occasion of the annual festival of Avaralumattu Sri Kalikamba Bhajana Mandir, Taalamaddale performance was arranged with the coming together of seasoned amateur artistes at night. When the artistes were acting out roles under 'Shumba Vadhe' episode, two artistes, who were donning the roles of Shumbha and Rakta Beejasura, had exchanged some heated words. As none of them was ready to let another have the last laugh, both got agitated and fought with mikes. As a result, the head of the person acting out the role of Shumbha was injured and blood started oozing out of it.

The arguments between the roles the artistes were presenting turned ugly and ended in a fight after they turned towards personal vilification. After the others intervened, the performance was stopped. A complaint was made to Padubidri station, and the police saw to it that the matter was settled amicably without registering a formal case.

Actual "Shumba Vadhe" is done with Shumba's head bleeding BUT Raktabeejasure survived and succeeded in dropping more beejas who will spread all over India (much more than now) and start bleeding Indians who opposes them unless rakthabeejasure Vadhe is done as soon as possible.
