Puttur, Apr 7: In an incident which happened at Arbi within Bellippady village in the taluk, a lady ended her life by hanging herself with the help of a sari. This tragic incident happened on Sunday, April 5.
The deceased was Kavya Shetty from Madikeri. She had married Prakash Shetty from Arbi three years ago. Prakash had left to visit the plantation for a short walk along with the couple's two-year-old son on Sunday. When he came back from the plantation, he found Kavya hanging from the ceiling fan in a room of the house with the help of her sari.
A case relating to this incident was registered in Puttur police station.
